Indian citizen undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate students can apply for internships with the Department of Space (DoS) and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Students from reputable colleges or institutes in India and outside who have finished their studies within the last six months or who are currently enrolled in science or technology programs are eligible for these internships.

Internship/Project Training Schemes at DoS/ISRO:

Students from academic institutions pursuing graduation, post-graduate studies, or research in science and technology will be able to interact with scientists and engineers in DoS/ISRO Centers/Units through internship and project training programs. This will help them improve their technical skills and advance in the job market.

Procedure for applying for Internship/Project work at SDSC SHAR:

1. To apply for an internship or project at ISRO’s Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR) in Sriharikota, students must send a request letter to [email protected] (addressed to the Head of HRM, SHAR). This request should be submitted at least one month before the desired start date and must include the following documents:

• i. Bonafide Certificate/ request letter from College
• ii. Consolidated Mark Sheet/ Memorandum of marks stating CGPA (or) % of marks till previous semester
• iii. Copy of the college ID
• iv. Copy of any photo ID (Voters ID / Driving License / Aadhaar Card)
• v. Contact details viz., Mobile Number, Email ID

2. The bonafide certificate or request letter must be on the institution’s letterhead and signed by the Director, Principal, or Head of Department (HoD). It should include the following details:
